NEC Sphericall is an open standards service oriented communications solution designed to enhance communications and collaborations within the enterprise, whether in an on-premises, hybrid or cloud model. Running on industry standard servers, NEC Sphericall has been designed from the ground up using profile-based adaptive SIP services, negating the need for proprietary hardware, devices or resources. NEC Sphericall aligns with the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and provides easy access to rich communications services through standard XML and SOAP technologies. This allows communications functionality to be deployed into existing enterprise applications as well as creating new, next generation communications-embedded applications and interfaces. NEC Sphericall has a unique distributed software architecture that can service up to 30,000 users across any number of locations using standards based SIP and able to achieve 99.999% reliability.
